Since Monsanto was able to pressure the Environmental Protection Agency to change the definition of glyphosate to say that there is no evidence that it causes cancer they were able to defend against any accusations, and were able to continue the use of Roundup on their crops. People are still being exposed to this carcinogen unknowingly, and the EPA still has not done anything about it. These are the only two cases so far and there are many more to come. Monsanto, with the help of the EPA, ruined these farmers’ lives by knowingly using the carcinogenic herbicide.

Monsanto is only interested in maximizing its profits, having no regards to anybody else. Charla Lord, a spokeswoman for the company, claimed that glyphosate is safe to humans as long as it is used as labeled. However, the WHO has evidence showing that exposure to glyphosate can, indeed, cause cancer. In fact, the EPA’s maximal “Safe” level is six times higher than Europe’s, and it has set the maxim level of exposure to 17.5 points higher than when it was originally set in the 1980s.  The EPA is colluding with Monsanto, and the corporate media is not doing its job of keeping the people informed about this serious health hazard.

Unfortunately, we are all at risk of being exposed to glyphosate without even being aware of it. This chemical can be found in the food, air, and rain, to which we are all exposed so that we all have levels of glyphosate in our blood. This means masses of innocent people are being exposed to dangerous levels of glyphosate without even knowing it, thus making likely many more cases of incurable cancer due to this exposure.
